Accounts Assistant          Monaghan

 

My client is seeking an Accounts Assistant with a minimum of 3 of years practical experience who would have responsibility for managing subcontractor payments and contributing to other accounting duties.

 

The Accounts Assistant will provide support for several different business areas, which will include managing payments, reconciliations and cashbook management.

 

Accounts Assistant Core Responsibilities

  • Payments and bank transfers
  • Day to day management cashbooks
  • Preparing accurate and timely reports
  • Monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Assistance with interim and year-end audits
  • Monitoring Expenses
  • Reconciliation and reporting

 

Accounts Assistant Requirements

  • Accounting qualification
  • Previous Accountancy experience working in a construction environment
  • Knowledge of RCT, certifications and retentions
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work against tight deadlines
  • Ability to keep organised and focus on priorities when working on several projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills.
