Admin/Accounts Assistant Cork
My client is seeking an Accounts/Admin Assistant with a least 1 years practical experience who will be responsible for supporting the accounting/administration team across the finance and office administration functions.
Admin/Accounts Assistant Core Responsibilities
- Have a clear and thorough understanding of the business operations, financial transactions and related systems
- Perform assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sub ledger transactional support with a particular focus on Purchase Invoice Processing and data entry Provide support across a wide range of finance/administrative initiatives as required
- Day to day management cashbooks
- Preparing accurate and timely reports
- Monthly accruals and prepayments
- Assistance with interim and year-end audits
- Contribute to the efficiency of the accounts/admin team by participating in cross training, sharing job responsibilities, and serving as position backup for other team members
- Monitoring Expenses
- Reconciliation and reporting
Admin/Accounts Assistant Requirements
- Ability to keep organised and focus on priorities when working on several projects simultaneously.
- Good can-do attitude
- Purchase ledge management would be advantageous
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills.
- Work well in team
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
