Administrative Assistant- Cavan

The Company

Tier 2 construction company with over €40 million turnover and increasing have a fantastic opportunity for an administrative assistant to assist the Project Delivery Team.

Your role will be varied but provide you with exposure to all areas of the industry, joining a successful contractor will open a lot of career opportunities.


  • Assisting Delivery Team on a daily basis
  • Managing the reception area, including welcoming customers and guests
  • Managing company correspondence, including phone calls, emails, letters and packages
  • Handling purchase orders and helping with the accounts
  • Organising meetings, scheduling appointments and overseeing catering during company events
  • Performing data entry roles, including updating records and databases for personnel, financial and legal information
  • Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operations
  • Creating travel itineraries for business executives, employees and company events

What you need

  • Ideally experience within Construction but not essential
  • Proactive, commercially aware and enthusiastic
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
  • Driven Team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
