Assistant Project Manager

INFORM3 Construction Recruitment has a new opportunity with a well know building construction company who has the requirement for an Assistant Project Manager. With this position you will be working with the Construction Director and will be based out of the office 4 days a week, travelling to various sites in NI the other day. Criteria

  • Development or Construction Experience
  • Leading/Being involved in the Development Management process from inception to completion.
  • Managing the various planning reports and surveys at pre planning and planning phases.
  • Management of Planning Applications
  • Procurement and Appointment of design team and management to hit deadlines / produce information required.
  • Organisation / project management to drive projects forward
  • Assist with bid management for tender submissions
  • Meeting perspective clients and managing the process and choices coordination back to the site team.
  • Committed, enthusiastic and able to use initiative
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with an ability to solve problems and take responsibility.
  • Detail orientated person
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Competent on Microsoft Packages.
  • Ability to work on own initiative

Duties

  • Visiting site and overseeing construction phase
  • Plan, organise and co-ordinate projects of various sizes from inception to completion.
  • Ensure all processes are being adhered to on a project by project basis
  • Ensuring that end product meets client's expectation in relation to build and finish
  • Project administration and contract management Overseeing legal due diligence and purchase process during the acquisition or sale of property assets
  • Analysing existing Group portfolio to explore asset development and sales in relation to housing association requirements and commercial opportunities
  • Creating an ongoing strategy for the Group
  • Building a team as required to grow the number of transactions in relation to housing, commercial or other developments
  • Any other duties in the day-to-day running of the business, as required by the Directors/Company in promoting the business and brand.
