INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

 

Job Title – Assistant Project Manager

Project – Data Centre

Job Location – North Dublin

Salary – €55K - €70K + package   

 

About the Company

Working with a very reputable Contractor with a fantastic reputation for delivering private and public projects across the North Leinster Region.

They have secured multiple new data centre and mission critical pharma projects across North Dublin and require an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project and Contracts Manager.  

The role would suit an ambitious senior engineer or site manager who is keen to move into project management in the near future.

Data/ Pharma experience is preferred.

 

The Role

  • Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
  • Meet with clients regularly update them on the progress of the projects.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
  • Report to and support the Company Director, Project Manager and Contracts Manager  to ensure smooth completion of project.
  • Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure the quality of works being completed.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
  • Engineering Background is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Main Contractor in ROI.  
  • Ideally will have experience working on Data/ Pharma/ Industrial projects.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
