Job Title:          Assistant Project Manager

Location:         Dublin

Salary:             €33k - €40k

About the Company   

A General Building Contractor going nearly 45 years. Based in Dublin their aim is to continue delivering projects to the highest of standards through careful attention to detail, quality workmanship and professional service.

They have successfully completed a wide range of projects in a variety of sectors for both public and private clients. They have completed numerous high specification projects over the years and have a deserved reputation for performance, quality and value for money. They have worked on projects up to €8M, and usually operate on projects around €900k

Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Report directly to Senior Manager
• Liaising with Clients and Site Foreman daily.
• Plan, organise and co-ordinate projects from start to completion.
• Deal with the client on any issues that may arise.
• Recruit Sub-Contractors.
• Produce and implement project programme of works.
• Collate H&S Information

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Educated to Degree level with at least 6 months previous experience working in a construction/ manufacturing industry with knowledge of and input into contracts delivery.
• Have experience in residential / commercial or industrial
• Must have engineering background
• Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Must be prepared to undertake some travel as part of the role
