Job Title – Assistant Purchasing Manager

Job Location – North Co. Dublin              

Salary – €45K - €50K BOE

 

About the Company:

Inform3 are currently recruiting for an Assistant Purchasing Manager to join our client’s team who are based in North Co. Dublin that is easily commutable from Drogheda, Ashbourne and Lucan.

This role is suited to someone who has 3 years administration experience and has the ability to learn on the job and work within a great team that strive for improvement.

You will be providing full support and assistance to the Senior Purchasing Manager in all areas within the company.

 

Duties Include:

  • To control and maintain any relevant and updating of all systems that are required.
  • Support ordering of chemicals and PPE, maintaining agreed stockholding levels in line with usage and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure purchase orders are accurate and aligned with lead times, MOQ’s, pricing and supplier agreements.
  • To deal with and prioritise all invoices and purchasing orders that are requested.
  • To deal with customers on a regular basis face-to-face or on the phone and assist with anything that may require.
  • To prepare and review Purchasing Agreements/Contracts and Service Agreements.
  • Be responsible for reporting and developing regular reports on a daily basis.
  • To complete all tenders within the time frame that is required.
  • Represent and take control of the situations when the Senior Purchasing Manager is not available.
  • Work together with the Quality team to ensure best practices are set in place.
  • To adhere to the companies Rules & Regulations and follow them accordingly.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive Experience in purchasing, buying or supply chain within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes.
  • Excellent Customer Service relations.
  • Experience with documentation and management of purchasing systems.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word and Windows.
  • Has strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle and control workload when necessary.
