Job Title – Assistant Site Manager

Project – High Rise city centre projects  

Job Location – London

Salary – £35K - £40K + travel, accommodation & bonus     

 

About the Company

Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Engineer or Foreman to Professional Progress into Site Management with one of Northern Irelands Busiest Main Contractors.

This project is just starting with minimum of 2 years’ work. The successful candidate will get to work alongside an experienced Site Manager and Project Manager and gain valuable training with genuine progression opportunities with the view to run their own project in coming years.

My client also offers financial help with educational courses for continued professional development.

Fortnightly travel to the UK is essential for this role- all expenses covered by the business.

 

The Role

  • Report to and support the Site Manager and Project Manager
  • Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
  • Liaise with site personnel, subcontractors, design team and architects to report any issues or help the flow of information.
  • Manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
  • Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and report any issues to senior management in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Order materials as required.
  • Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

 

Requirements

  • A recent Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.  
  • Ideally will have 3 years’ on site experience.
  • Willingness to learn and work to get the project completed to a high standard.
  • Ambitious – keen to run your work projects in the near future.
