Responsibilities of the Role

Working as part of a fast-paced creative design team reporting to an experienced Design Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • The use of AutoCAD and Revit 2D and 3D software packages to produce drawings relevant to the projects of the company.
  • Developing accurate designs for a variety of projects.
  • Liaising with clients and other functional workplace departments to ensure intent is met and drawing approval is achieves as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensure all relevant teams within the business have all the required information, communicated appropriately and accurately.
  • Contribute to the design and development of projects.
  • Adhere to existing working practices, methods and procedures.
  • Make sure client specification is met accordingly and within the set deadline.

Experience and Qualifications for the Role:

The successful individual will have 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar role. They should have a relevant degree level qualification relating to the job role and a keen passion and positive attitude for the area of work

Skills for the Role:

  • Great attention to detail.
  • Solid knowledge and confidence in using the design software, AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional manner when dealing with customers.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and to own initiative.
