AutoCad Technician

Our client is a leading environmental services company and they currently require an AutoCad Technician to join them on a prestigious project based in London.  Established for over 40 years their project portfolio is diverse including commercial, industrial projects throughout Ireland and further afield.  They pride themselves on their quality work and are committed to their people.  This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a high profile railway project in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining overall engineering objectives and initiatives
  • Assist with creating and maintaining thorough documentation of engineering activities and decisions. Engineering documentation includes, but is not limited to, all technical drawings, operating manuals, product specification documents, technical reports, e
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of the product Bills of Material on company database
  • Assist with the Engineering Change process to ensure all products remain compliant with customer specifications and that relevant Sales personnel are aware of the latest specifications / requirements
  • Respond to technical queries from internal company departments and assist with technical discussions with customers and suppliers as required.
  • Creation of models and drawings for our drilling product range and various projects.
  • Creation of models and construction of automated drawing generation of our Geothermal and Landfill product ranges for our Plastic Fabrication department
  • Develop and maintain 3D CAD database.

Criteria:

Proficient in using 3D CAD software

  • Demonstrable experience in producing high quality, accurate drawings for both clients and manufacturing
  • Strong general computer skills with experience of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Positive attitude, proactive and reliable
  • Team worker; excellent communication and 'people skills'
