AutoCad Technician

Our client is a highly reputable luxury Interior Design company and they currently seek a dynamic and professional AutoCad Technician. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high profile luxury projects throughout Northern Ireland and further afield.


  • You will be proactive, able to work both individually and as part of a team, and confident enough to develop design packages, technical detailing, joinery drawings & highly visual CGI images for bespoke projects to the highest quality.
  • Presenting concepts and design solutions to client
  • Working on residential projects where you will be required to produce; floor and ceiling plans, furniture, joinery drawings, electrical layouts etc…
  • Setting/monitoring of design standards and guidelines
  • Working closely with a team of skilled Interior Designers to ensure highly creative and visual design concepts are presented.


  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • You will need to be confident in using AutoCAD. (or other 2D CAD programmes)
  • Highly skilled in SketchUp, 3Ds Max or other modelling software
  • Experience in Vray, Corona or other rendering programmes is advantageous.
  • Joining a small but highly talented team, you will report to the directors.
  • To create technical drawings, design packages and joinery detailing Attending regular internal design team meetings and assisting the designers on the conceptual and technical side of the design process.
  • Must have at least 1 year employment experience, post degree.
  • Successful applicants should demonstrate a practical knowledge of joinery methodology and building practices. Be confident to work independently and as part of a team, creating drawing packages at a fast pace, within tight time constraints and under pressure.
