INFORM3 are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join a busy commercial team in Belfast.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in writing tenders and bids for large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly within the EV charging, ICP (Independent Connection Provider), and utilities sectors.

In this role, you will lead the bid process, create high-quality proposals, and ensure submissions adhere to client requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.

Bid Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling, clear, and technically accurate proposals for a range of infrastructure projects, demonstrating expertise in the EV, ICP, and utilities sectors.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for EV, ICP, and utility projects, ensuring compliance with all tender requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and senior management, to gather the necessary information for bids and ensure a coordinated approach to proposals.
  • Ensure all tender submissions are delivered on time and to the highest standard, addressing client specifications, evaluation criteria, and strategic objectives.
  • Develop bid strategies, ensuring that each proposal is aligned with the company’s objectives and has the best chance of success.
  • Engage with clients and potential partners to understand their needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
  • Ensure that all bids are thoroughly checked for accuracy, compliance, and consistency before submission.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to continuously improve the quality of bid submissions.

Bid Manager Job Requirements:

  • Third Level Qualification in a related industry
  • Previous bid writing experience in the construction 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • 3+ Years’ experience ideally in the Civils Sector
  • Team Player
