Bid Writer / Marketing – Tyrone

The Company

Due to continuing success and growth a fantastic new opportunity has come up with our client, they are looking for a Bid Writer (with marketing duties) to join their growing team.

The candidate will work closely with the Business Development Manager and the rest of the team in order to keep the client delivering the first-class work they are known for.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the bid/tender responses and ensuring all requirements from employers’ requirements, site surveys, site meetings, client feedback, method statements and programmes are communicated effectively to the relevant team.
• Maintain registrations with appropriate authorities/bodies to ensure receipt of relevant EOI’s PQQ’s and tender notifications.
• Manage the review of portals for tender opportunities which are aligned to the sales and marketing opportunities and allocate leads to relevant team members.
• Complete the required documentation and ensure submission within the required timescales.
• Maintaining excellent internal relationships, understanding who to go to in order to gather relevant information and ensuring that good relations are kept with key individuals
• Monitor and evaluate the success rates and conversions
• Maintain an effective archive structure for past submissions, continually enriching the bid information library as a key resource
• Manage the PQQ process including updating libraries, obtaining feedback and leading the continuous improvement process.
• Extend business through desk research, customer feedback, client debriefs and post contract appraisals

Criteria

• 3+ years in similar roles (preferably but not essential in the construction industry)
• Hold a marketing / communications qualification
• Training and experience of using digital design tools
• You will develop professionally and personally as a successful Marketing Officer/Bid Writer with an established organisation.
