BIM Coordinator

Seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a Tier 1 contractor in Dublin on a level 2 BIM project based in Dublin CC

Based in the heart of Dublin, this large contractor, specialise predominantly in large scale, high end residential and commercial builds.

Role & Responsibilities

• Setting up of models
• Support project teams in the use of BIM tools
• Monitor the agreed workflows and modelling techniques that are used projects
• Project specific Revit content creation
• Performing BIM Coordination exercises with the team
• Maintenance of project BIM documentation
• Federate models and perform clash detection
• Work with all teams in the office
• Provide feedback on the team’s performance and requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Level 7 Degree in Construction or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in a construction practice using Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience using Navisworks or similar for clash detection
• Experience working with Asset Information
• Experience using Autodesk BIM 360 is preferred however not essential
• Good working knowledge of BIM standards and protocols.

• Experience of working on major projects valued £50m+
• Experience working on BIM level 2 projects
• Sound technical understanding
• Interest in QA/QA systems
• Able to explain complex topics in simple terms
• A professional and personal commitment to the project and team success
• Demonstrate initiative and involvement in the company’s strategic BIM development
• Fantastic written and verbal English.
