BIM Technician - Dublin

BIM Technician         Dublin             €40-50k

Our client based in South Dublin has an immediate requirement to recruit a BIM Technician able to implement their integrated building information modelling services and drive improvements in the design quality.

The role will suit someone with experience performing in a similar role who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment both with clients and as part of a dynamic wider team.

Previous experience of BIM and Revit is essential and a background in Building Services is highly advantageous.

Role & Responsibilities

• Producing clear and reliable 3D designs from concept stage through to construction.
• Managing the delivery of BIM models and CAD documentation of designs, as well as compiling BIM Execution Plans.
• Maintaining the overview of all aspects of development including BIM processes, 2D and 3D designs and coordinating MEP services to finalising a successful project.
• Preparing technical reports, specification and schedules.
• Contributing to the planning of team workload.

Individual requirements

• 2+ Years of experience working with BIM and Revit
• Degree in Design or Building Services
• Experience within the Mechanical / Electrical industry desirable
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings
• Comfortable working on concurrent projects
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
