Business Development Manager – Cork
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager, for a Civil Engineering Contractor. The successful candidate will join a company that has more than 10 years’ experience in the Civil Engineering Industry.
The successful candidate will be experienced in developing business specifically within the construction industry and able to promote the company and enhance their brand.
Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Report into the Senior Management Team
- Develop new business leads
- Attend meetings with existing and new clients
- Liaise with Clients and develop a strong relationship
- Continuously promote the company’s image, through researching the market and improving branding
- Coordinate the BID team
- Monitor BID writing and proposals, continuously improving to enhance their effectiveness
- Ensure BIDs have been processed correctly and in a timely manner
- Regularly conduct critical reports upon business activity
- Identify any potential barriers or problems and plan solutions
- Ensure Targets and Deadlines are met
- Assist the Management Team
Business Development Manager Qualifications/Experience:
- BID, Marketing or Sales Degree
- 4 years’ plus relevant experience in a similar position
- Experience working with a Civil Engineering Company
- Experience in developing and managing business leads
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team and independently
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
