Job Title – Business Development Manager (Construction Sector)
Job Location – Galway
Salary - €90,000 - €100,000
About the Company
A well-established Main Contractor that is recruiting a Business Development manager to drive business growth and development throughout Ireland. This leading Irish Main contractor specialise in residential and commercial construction and are keen to take on a candidate with past experience in the Construction Industry.
The Role
- Report into the Senior Management Team
- Coordinate Business and Sales Activities
- Develop new business leads
- Attend meetings with existing and new clients, continually developing relationships
- Liaise regularly with Clients
- Enhance the company’s image continuously
- Coordinate the BID team
- Monitor BID writing and proposals, continuously improving to enhance their effectiveness
- Ensure BIDs have been processed correctly and in a timely manner
- Regularly produce reports and discuss with management
- Identify any potential barriers or problems and plan solutions
- Set Targets and Deadlines and ensure they are met
- Assist the Management Team
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Construction Sector
- Third level degree in BID, Marketing or Sales.
- Project Management Qualification is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Able to work as part of a team and independently
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
