The Company

Building Contractor based in Tyrone are on the lookout for a Buyer to join their commercial team. A medium sized contractor working on schools, primary care centres, extensions, refurbs, commercial. A reputable contractor working in NI, UK and Scotland, you will be working closely with the commercial team and the directors. Attractive salary and package.

The Role

• Liaising with site team and buying / ordering materials in accordance with a PO System
• Checking stock levels on site to ensure materials are delivered to meet construction programmes
• Checking invoices v dockets v orders to ensure correct rates are being charged
• Logging material orders / administrative duties
• Contacting suppliers to find best rates for materials

Criteria

• 2+ years in a Buyer role
• Ideally background in construction but not essential.
• Demonstrable experience of market research on pricing
• Qualifications in a relevant discipline may be advantageous
