Cable Jointer Munster
Our client is a well-established company operating within the Renewables sector who are recruiting for Cable Jointers to work on projects across Munster.
In this role, you will help the company achieve its goals in growth, whilst also providing an excellent service by delivering substation equipment on site as well as maintaining a safe area of work whilst completing work.
Responsibilities
- Working on HV networks carrying out jointing, cabling and excavation work on a pre-planned and quick response basis
- Deliver the programmed works at the expected level of quality, performance, safety and cost
- Promote and demonstrate a culture of Health, Safety & Quality at all times;
- Ensure all works are carried out to project specifications;
- Complete site risk assessments
Requirements
- Suitable trade tested certification in power cable jointing and terminations from a recognised training school and/or relevant experience.
- Experience working within the industrial sector desirable
- HV jointing experience and associated works
- Solid and up to date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances.
- Experience of managing safety systems and associated resources
