CAD Technician - Northern Ireland

CAD Technician                      Co. Antrim                   £30-35K

Established for over 45 years our client is a leading prestressed concrete company with a reputation for innovation and a name synonymous with quality. The successful candidates will be part of a highly skilled team who are continually growing.

They are excited to be recruiting a CAD Technician. This is a newly formed role providing plenty of scope for the right candidate to make the role their own. There will be plenty of career progression as this section of the business is expanding.

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce general arrangements and layouts for precast concrete structures.
• Liaising with all members of the design and production team.
• Creating accurate production drawings in line with project requirements.
• Ensuring the work is completed in a timely manner and within budget.
• Reviewing and updating Bill of Materials.
• Procurement of project-specific materials.
• Assist with any ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Experience & Attributes:

• Have demonstrable experience of working as a CAD Technician.
• 2 years + design experience with precast concrete structures.
• Qualification in an Engineering related discipline.
• 2 years + experience using AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Ability to work on your own and within a Team Environment.
