Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Location: Louth
Inform3 are recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join a contractor to work on a civil engineering project in Co. Louth.
The client is seeking candidates with an in-depth knowledge of Civil infrastructure/utilities and a good understanding of construction techniques, sequences of work, Irish Building Regs and Irish Water standards working under BCAR.
Civil Engineer Job Spec:
- Managing day to day running of construction site
- Attending meetings on a weekly basis
- Keeping track of manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping making note of all site activities
- Assisting with the control of equipment on site
- Maintaining the site diary – keeping detailed notes of all site activities
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Co-ordinating weekly site meetings, discussing key objectives
- Cooperating with the senior management team.
- Managing traffic on site
Civil Engineer Job Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience and a knowledge of Civil infrastructure/utilities
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
- Team Work
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
- Good planning, leadership & attention to detail.
