Civil Engineer / Health & Safety Advisor – Dublin
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer / Health & Safety Advisor, for projects based in Dublin and Down. The successful candidate will work for a Civil Engineering and Building Contractor with a number of multi-mullion projects. The client has significantly grown within the last number of years due to their extremely experienced and knowledgeable team. The candidate will have a Civil Engineering background with experience in health and safety.
The candidate will be required to travel between Dublin and Down.
Civil Site Engineer / Health & Safety Advisor Responsibilities:
- Regularly report into the Management team
- Complete setting out and surveying duties
- Read and understand site drawings
- Control plant and materials on site
- Know of the company’s quality standards and ensure the site team adheres to them
- Ensure Health and Safety is promoted throughout site
- Coordinate Health and Safety Briefings
- Maintain site paperwork
- Control BCAR documentation and complete tracking of BCAR throughout several phases of the projects
- Conduct Toolbox Talks
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Ensure competence of staff
- Be present for site meetings
- Complete any other relevant duties
Candidate Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 1 years’ plus experience
- Setting Out experience
- Health & Safety experience
- BCAR experience
- Able to work within a team and independently
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Package
- Full driving licence
