Site Engineer – Tipperary

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Engineer, for a large civil project in Tipperary. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client that has over 35 years’ in the industry. The client places great importance on producing high quality work on every project and creating relationships with clients and their workforce that last. It is vital that the successful candidate is able to demonstrate a pragmatic and proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to liaise with site management and client’s representatives as appropriate. They will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.

 

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Site Management and produce regular reports regarding site activity
  • Oversee structural activity and staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures throughout
  • Regularly check Site drawings and Specifications
  • Complete Setting Out
  • Supervise and direct site staff
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures
  • Assist in managing health & safety on site
  • Manage materials and waste, ensuring sufficient stock is on site
  • Assist in managing resources such as Plant, Machinery and Heavy Equipment
  • Adhere to the company's policy regarding quality workmanship
  • Regularly complete the site diary
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
  • Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Liaise with Clients / Consultancies / Public when appropriate

 

Site Engineer Specification:

  • Civil Engineer Degree
  • 2 years' plus experience
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Knowledge and experience of working on civil projects
  • Motivated and driven
  • Setting Out Experience
  • Full driving licence
