Civil Engineer – Dublin
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer for a number of Civil projects in the Dublin area. The client has 10 years of knowledge and experience within the Civil Engineering industry. The client is continually growing and has room for a Civil Engineer to join their team. The Civil Engineer will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.
Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to the Senior Engineer and Site Management team
- Conduct daily setting out and surveying on site
- Be responsible for overseeing structure activity and staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures throughout.
- Regularly familiarise yourself with the site drawings and site specifications
- Assist in managing sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
- Assist in managing plant, machinery and equipment
- Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and regulations
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Maintain the site diary
- Be present for Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Hold and/or attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
- Complete any other duties as and when required
Civil Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 2 years’ plus experience in a similar role
- Experience in Civil projects
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Setting out and surveying knowledge
- Full driving licence
