INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to work on power/civils project based in Dublin.

Electrical experience will be advantageous.

The client is seeking to add an experienced Civil Engineer to their team, the successful candidate will need to be confident in civil projects and have knowledge & experience on setting out and GPS.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Ensure electrical installations comply with regulations and industry standards.
  • Review designs and specs; assist in building baseline programmes using MS Project.
  • Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to resolve design and site issues.
  • Track schedules and progress; provide technical updates and reports.
  • Support RAMS, safety procedures, and HSEQ documentation preparation.
  • Identify delays and risks; assist with extension of time claims.
  • Conduct inspections and support audits for safety and quality compliance.
  • Provide technical support to site teams.
  • Monitor costs vs. budget; flag variances and suggest corrections.
  • Assist with scope changes and negotiating cost variations.
  • Manage project documentation per contract requirements.

 

Civil Engineer Specification:

  • Experienced Project Engineer in electrical, utilities, or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems (e.g., power, lighting, utilities) and related civil works.
  • Skilled in MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective communicator and problem-solver; works well in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Background in civil engineering with electrical delivery experience preferred.
  • Holds a full driver’s licence.
