Civil Engineer

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join a live public realm project in West Cork.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Management team to oversee the day-to-day engineering requirements of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme.
The project will involve a range of public realm and civil engineering works, including roads, footpaths, drainage, services, landscaping and associated infrastructure.
Civil Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works on site
- Managing and monitoring civil engineering works
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
- Carrying out quality checks and inspections
- Assisting with the planning and programming of works
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
- Monitoring progress and reporting to the Senior Engineer / Project Manager
- Liaising with the design team, client and other project stakeholders
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed on site
- Supporting the delivery of drainage, roads, footpaths and other public realm works
Civil Engineer Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' Irish experience in a civil engineering/site engineering role
- Experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out and surveying experience
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with AutoCAD and surveying equipment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
- Full Irish driving licence
