Civil Engineer

INFORM3 are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join a busy civil engineering team working on bridge repair and rehabilitation projects in Cork/Limerick.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineer with experience in civil engineering, structures, roads or heavy civils to take on a key site-based role, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Management team, subcontractors and wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
Civil Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and delivery of bridge repair and rehabilitation works.
- Setting out and surveying works as required.
- Review construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are progressing to programme.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure works are completed in accordance with specifications and quality standards.
- Carry out site inspections and assist with resolving technical issues.
- Maintain accurate site records, QA documentation and progress reports.
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of RAMS.
- Monitor health and safety requirements across the site.
- Coordinate materials, plant and resources required for the works.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors and design team.
- Assist with programme tracking and reporting.
- Ensure works are completed in line with project requirements and relevant standards.
- Assist with snagging, completion and handover of works.
Civil Engineer Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2+ years' experience within civil engineering or infrastructure.
- Experience working on bridges, structures, roads, concrete works or heavy civils is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Experience with setting out and surveying.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and construction procedures.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site-based team.
- Full clean driving licence.
