Civil Engineer

INFORM3 are recruiting for an established civil engineering contractor who is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with 3+ years’ experience to join their team on a major infrastructure project in Donegal.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Site and Project Management teams, supporting the delivery of bridge and associated civil engineering works. This is a site-based position with responsibility for setting out, technical support, quality control and ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required standards.
Civil Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying civil engineering works.
- Working from construction drawings, specifications and project information.
- Checking levels, dimensions and tolerances.
- Providing technical support to the Site and Project Management teams.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and site personnel.
- Monitoring quality and maintaining accurate site records.
- Assisting with planning and sequencing of works.
- Resolving technical and engineering issues on site.
- Maintaining relevant project documentation.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with health & safety requirements.
- Supporting the project team in achieving programme and quality targets.
Civil Engineer Requirements
- Degree/Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Civil Engineer/Site Engineer role.
- Strong experience working from construction drawings and specifications.
- Good setting out and surveying experience.
- Previous experience on bridge, roads, infrastructure or heavy civil projects is advantageous.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
- Full driving licence.
