Civil Engineer

INFORM3 are seeking a Civil Engineer to join an experienced project team delivering a major energy and associated civil engineering construction project in Wicklow.
This role would suit a Civil Engineer with site-based experience across infrastructure, civils or construction projects who is looking to contribute to the delivery of essential energy infrastructure.
Working alongside the Project Manager and site team, you will help coordinate construction activities, monitor progress and ensure all works meet the required technical, quality and safety standards.
Civil Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor day-to-day civil engineering works on site.
- Ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Assist with setting out, levels, measurements and site inspections.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors and design teams.
- Monitor progress against the construction programme.
- Review technical drawings and assist in resolving engineering queries.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and project standards.
Civil Engineer Requirements
- Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Previous experience in a Civil Engineer role within construction or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and site operations.
- Experience with utilities, substations or energy infrastructure would be advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to site delivery, quality and safety.
