Civil Estimator (Any Level)

INFORM3 is currently recruiting an Estimator to join an ever growing civil engineering contractor. This company has a turnover last year of over €20m with an order book this year to have them hit very close to €30M. The commercial team has doubled in size is the last 18 months.

As an Estimator, your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Develop and maintain contract estimating templates.
• Understand client scope of work and prepare target cost estimates in line with requirements.
• Assist and support commercial staff
• Preparing cost analysis.
• Identify opportunities and risk during any tender processes
• Complete detailed material take offs for purchase orders.
• Present basis of estimate and key assumptions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with all the clients.
• Assist building new estimating processes as the company grows.

Skills and Knowledge requirements:

• Experience in the civil engineering industry is essential.
• Previous experience working in an estimating function.
• Civil engineering/Utilities experience essential.
• Good IT skills, particularly Excel, programming and other estimating software.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
