Civil Foreman – Galway

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Civil Foreman for road and utility projects based in Laois, Offaly, Kildare and Kilkenny. The successful candidate will join a company that has more than 25 years’ experience in the Civil Engineering Industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the site and must ensure that the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client.

 

Civil Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Project Manager
  • Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Complete checks on Plant and Machinery
  • Supervise and co-ordinate teams of direct labour and specialist sub-contractors
  • Complete the daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Daily briefings to operatives and set a good personal example.
  • Ensure the highest standard of safety protocols are established and implemented on site.
  • Provide a safe place of work that complies with current legislation.
  • Run the site as directed by the Project Management Plan.
  • Coordinate Site Meetings
  • Attend Site Management meetings
  • Regularly measure site progress ensuring the project is on track to meet deadlines and targets

 

Civil Foreman Specification:

  • Construction Management Background
  • 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar position
  • General civils experience
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Experience in groundworks, drainage, earthworks and muck shifting etc
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organised and driven to reach objectives
  • Able to manage and lead site teams
  • Clean Driving License
