Junior – Senior Civils Engineer 
Job Location: Cork

INFORM3 are currently recruiting Civil Engineer at all levels for an established civil engineering contractor to join their team on a major urban transport infrastructure scheme in Cork City.

These roles offer the opportunity to contribute to large-scale public realm and roadway improvement works within a dynamic city environment.

The successful candidates will play a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of civil works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily site engineering activities.
  • Interpret and implement design drawings and technical specifications.
  • Manage subcontractors and liaise with site supervisors and foremen.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor progress against programme and report to Project/Contracts Management.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling and sequencing of works.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including RFIs, measurements and as-built documentation.
  • Support quality control processes, inspections and handovers.

 

Civil Engineers Specification:

  • 1+ years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally within infrastructure or roadworks.
  • Strong setting out and surveying experience.
  • Good understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage site engineering teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of road construction, utilities and public realm works.
  • Experience in programme management and reporting.
  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (experience with project planning software advantageous).
  • Full driving licence.
