Civil Site Engineer – Cork
INFORM3 are recruiting a Civil Site Engineer for civil and utility projects in Cork. The client is a large contractor with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and continuing to grow. The client is seeking a candidate that has a Civil Engineering Degree and experience in setting out, surveying and working on civil projects.
Civil Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Regularly report into the Site Management Team
- Regularly review site drawings and specifications
- Complete Setting out and Surveying on site
- Assist in the coordination of the Site Team, ensuring that they are clear on tasks that need to be carried out
- Assist in the management and planning of plant and materials on site
- Manage and order materials
- Comply with company standards regarding quality
- Maintain the site diary and paperwork
- Comply with Health & Safety procedures
- Conduct Toolbox Talks
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Complete any other relevant duties when required
Civil Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 1-3 years plus experience
- Setting Out experience
- Ability to work off own initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Experience in Microsoft Office Package
- Full driving licence
