Civil Engineer

INFORM are recruiting for a leading civil engineering contractor who is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team on a major Wastewater Treatment Works project in Limerick.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer with experience across water, wastewater, utilities or heavy civils, looking to work on a technically challenging infrastructure project.
Civil Engineer Role:
- Oversee and coordinate civil engineering works on site
- Setting out and checking levels, lines and dimensions
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinate subcontractors and site crews
- Monitor progress and ensure works remain on programme
- Assist with planning and sequencing of works
- Carry out QA/QC inspections and maintain records
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Management and design teams
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification
Civil Engineer Requirements:
- Degree/Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working on civil engineering projects
- Experience in water/wastewater, WWTP, utilities, drainage or heavy civils highly desirable
- Strong setting-out and surveying skills
- Good understanding of drawings, specifications and construction methods
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good knowledge of health & safety and quality requirements
