Site Engineer – Kildare
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Engineer, for civils work a multi-million development project in Kildare. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor with over 15 years’ experience within the industry. The client has a number of projects and is continually taking on more work due to their highly skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
The Site Engineer will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision and be experienced in working on housing, groundworks, utilities etc.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Senior Management Team
- Conduct setting out and surveying duties
- Handle any technical queries regarding site work
- Check drawings and specifications to ensure that they match with onsite works
- Ensure sub-contractors, labourers and site staff are managed through effective communication and coordination
- Coordinate and control plant and material on site
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Complete site diaries and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks
- Conduct Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Complete any other relevant duties
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 3 years’ plus experience
- Setting Out and Surveying experience
- Able to work within a team and independently
- Experienced in Microsoft Office and fantastic Numeracy skills
- Full driving licence
