Civil Site Manager – Cork

 

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Civil Site Manager for a number of utility projects in Cork. The client is a well known Building and Civil Engineering Contractor with a great number of years in the construction industry. The client is seeking to add an experienced Civil Site Manager to their team who has previous experience working with utilities and various site teams.

 

 

Civil Site Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Project Manager regarding progress on site
  • Coordinate with the on-site construction team on a regular basis, ensuring all daily and weekly tasks are complete
  • Chair and coordinate Site Meetings when appropiate
  • Ensure development is made and recorded in the site diary
  • Monitor and control quality on site
  • Ensure internal and external inspection are passed and processed
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
  • Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Check plant and equipment to ensure that it is safe and able to provide the work required
  • Management of Materials and Waste
  • Complete site inductions when appropiate
  • Attend Site Management meetings

 

Civil Site Manager Specification:

  • Civil Manager or Civil Engineer background
  • 5 + years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of civils practices and regulations
  • Experience of managing civils teams
  • Confident in using Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Full Driving license
