Civil Supervisor – Northern Ireland
INFORM3 are recruiting for a Civil Supervisor to manage several utility projects across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with over 35 years’ specialist experience in the civil engineering industry. The client treats every project with the greatest respect and places all focus to finish the work to perfection and as a result of this has won numerous awards.
The client requires a Civil Supervisor with experience in working on utilities, groundworks, ducting etc and managing civils teams.
Civil Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Plan daily site activities
- Ensure site works are aligned with the Project Plan
- Ensure deadlines and targets are being met
- Ensure the site is complying with current legislation and is a safe place to work
- Order in materials
- Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Complete relevant site paperwork
- Be the point of contact for emergency situations and devise plans to amend any problems or errors
- Attend site and client meetings
- Ensure company values are adhered to throughout site
- Manage traffic whilst on site
- Attend Site Management meetings
Civil Supervisor Specification:
- Civil Engineering Degree/ Civil Supervisor Background
- 1 year plus experience in a similar role
- Experience in civils projects
- Experience in working with utilities
- Strong communicator
- Experience in using Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
