Civil Supervisors – Greater Belfast
INFORM3 are currently recruiting Civil Supervisors for utility projects in the Greater Belfast area. The client is a widely recognised Civil Engineering Contractor that has a long-standing history within Northern Ireland and continually growing year on year.
The client requires a candidate with previous experience as a Civil Engineer or Supervisor/Manager in the civils industry particularly on projects involving utilities such as water.
Civil Supervisors Responsibilities:
- Regularly report into the Project Manager
- Review the site drawings and specifications
- Plan site works accordingly, paying attention to deadlines and requirements
- Supervise and coordinate various site teams
- Plan and Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order in materials
- Adhere to health & safety regulations and ensure all site members do so also
- Maintain the site diary and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health & Safety briefings
- Complete site inductions
- Be part of site meetings discussing pressing issues or requirements
- Liaise with the public / consultancies / clients when appropriate
- Manage traffic on site
- Provide reports to the Project Manager
Civil Supervisors Specification:
- Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree / Background
- 1-2 years plus experience in a similar role
- Self-start, confident in working independently
- Able to work towards targets and deadlines
- Experience with utilities is preferred but not essential
- Full driving licence
