Civils Foreman / Manager – Wicklow

INFORM3 are recruiting a Civils Foreman / Manager, for a road and utilities project based in Wicklow. The successful candidate will join a company that has a great depth of experience and knowledge within the construction industry. Due to continued demand for their services, the client is seeking an experience Civils Foreman / Manager that has worked on a variety of civil projects and managed various site teams.

 

Civils Foreman / Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Project Manager
  • Coordinate site activities that are aligned with the project programme, establishing deadlines and targets
  • Supervise direct labour and specialist sub-contract labour and provide clear tasks
  • Complete the site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Conduct Plant and Machinery checks
  • Order in materials
  • Ensure the site is adhering to Health & Safety regulations
  • Conduct Site Meetings
  • Carry out toolbox talks
  • Liaise with Health & Safety Officers regarding specific requirements
  • Manage traffic on site
  • Attend Site Management meetings

 

Civils Foreman / Manager Specification:

  • Civils Foreman / Manager background
  • 4 years or more relevant experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a variety of civil projects
  • Experience working with heavy machinery and plant
  • Organised and motivated
  • Clean Driving License
