Civils Foreman – Dublin

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Site Foreman for several civil projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on behalf of an established and recognised Civil Engineering Contractor that is very busy due to continued demand for their services. The client requires a knowledgeable and organised Foreman that has managed civil projects involving earthworks, groundworks, utilities and roads.

 

Civils Foreman Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Senior Management
  • Coordinate and manage direct staff and subcontractors
  • Ensure site works are in accordance with the Project Plan
  • Manage Heavy Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Carry out weekly checks on Plant and Machinery ensuring they are fit for purpose
  • Order in materials for site staff
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily and properly including but not limited to: Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, daily journal/diary, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and ensure site staff are also  
  • Check site works ensuring quality standards are met and exceeded
  • Assist in any emergency situations
  • Maintain the site diary
  • Complete Toolbox talks
  • Complete Site Inductions
  • Attend and Chair Site Meetings discussing any pressing issues
  • Attend Health & Safety briefings
  • Liaise with the Public / Consultancies / Clients when needed

 

Civils Foreman Specification:

  • Construction Management Background
  • 4 years plus experience
  • Experience working with heavy plant and machinery
  • Experience working with groundworks, utilities, earthworks, roads etc
  • Strong communicator and highly organised
  • Driven and Ambitious
  • Full driving licence
