Civils Foreman – Dublin

INFORM3 are recruiting a Civils Foreman for civil works on residential developments in North & West Dublin. The candidate will work on behalf of a large Civil Engineering Contractor who is extremely busy and seeking to add a Civils Foreman to their team who will have the opportunity for fantastic progression. The successful candidate will come from a civils background and will be confident in managing civil site teams.

 

Civils Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise regularly with Senior Management
  • Regularly check the project plan
  • Coordinate with the Project / Contracts Manager, Site team and Sub contractors
  • Organise daily activities, work shifts, etc.
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
  • Order materials when needed
  • Coordinate Plant and Machinery, checking they are safe to use
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily and properly including but not limited to: Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, daily journal/diary, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Regularly monitor the progress of work, motivating site staff when needed to reach targets
  • Deliver regular tool box talk briefings to the site team covering appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental issues and ensure records of these briefings are maintained.
  • Carry out Site Meetings, discussing any issues or obstacles
  • Monitor sub contract works and ensure subcontract works are being delivered effectively
  • Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
  • Provide regular reports to Senior Management

 

Civils Foreman Specification:

  • Construction Management Background
  • Civils Experience
  • 5 + years’ experience in a similar position
  • Confident in managing civil teams
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Experience in groundworks and general civils works
  • Excellent communicator
  • Able to use MS Office
  • Full Driving License
