Civils Foreman – Dublin

INFORM3 are recruiting a Civils Foreman for projects involving housing, industrial units, data centres, roads etc in Dublin, Kildare and Meath. The client has over 40 years in the civil engineering industry and is known for producing award winning projects. It is vital that the successful candidate has a number of years’ experience and is able to work independently. The client is able to provide long-term work and opportunities to progress with the company.

 

Civils Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and coordinate with the Project Manager
  • Coordinate Site Activities that are aligned with the Project Plan
  • Coordinate various site teams, discussing their roles and weekly targets
  • Organise and coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Conduct checks on Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Order in materials when appropriate
  • Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety at all times and ensure all staff adhere to regulations
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily and properly including but not limited to: Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, daily journal/diary, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Monitor the progress of your work against the planned timelines.
  • Deliver regular tool box talk briefings to the site team covering appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental issues and ensure records of these briefings are maintained.
  • Attend and Coordinate Site Meetings
  • Attend Site Management Meetings

 

Civils Foreman Specification:

  • Civil Management background
  • 5 + years plus experience in a relevant position
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Experience in a variety of civil projects
  • Able to manage site teams
  • Great communicator and highly organised
  • Full Driving License
