Civils Foreman – Dublin

INFORM3 are recruiting a Civils Foreman to manage several residential, public realm, road and industrial projects across Dublin. The successful candidate will join a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding their team due to increased demand for their services.

The client is seeking an experienced Civils Foreman that is confident in managing site activities, plant, materials and ensuring the project reaches targets.

 

Civils Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Project Manager
  • Review the Project Programme daily
  • Organise daily activities, work shifts, etc.
  • Provide support and communication to the site team
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
  • Order and control materials on site
  • Coordinate, Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Conduct regular checks on Plant and Machinery, reporting any faults
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily and properly including but not limited to: Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, daily journal/diary, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Monitor the progress of your work against the planned production goals.
  • Deliver regular tool box talk briefings to the site team covering appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental issues
  • Attend and Chair site meetings
  • Complete site inductions
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times
  • Provide reports to the Project Manager

 

Civils Foreman Specification:

  • Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree or Extensive Management background
  • 5 + years’ experience
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Experience in civil projects including groundworks, earthworks, drainage, roads etc
  • Confident in managing site teams
  • Highly organised and excellent communicator
  • Full Driving License
