Civils Foreman – Kildare

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Civils Foreman, for projects based mainly in Kildare, Dublin and Meath. The client is currently working on INTEL, Amazon, Facebook and large infrastructure projects.  It is vital that the successful candidate must ensure that the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client and his professional team with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget. The client has many years of experience in the civil engineering industry and puts pride in quality work and forming genuine and long last relationships with clients. It is vital that the successful candidate has a number of years’ experience and is able to work independently.

 

 

Civils Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Project / Contracts Manager, Site team and Sub contractors
  • Organise daily activities, work shifts, etc.
  • Capacity of coordination between the different activities performed by the employees and subcontractor
  • Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
  • Ordering and control of materials on site
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily and properly including but not limited to: Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, daily journal/diary, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Monitor the progress of your work against the planned production goals.
  • Deliver regular tool box talk briefings to the site team covering appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental issues and ensure records of these briefings are maintained.
  • Ensure daily and weekly plant checks are carried out and all records are up to date.
  • Monitor sub contract works and ensure subcontract works are being delivered

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • CSR Card or Safe pass
  • 5 + years’ experience as a foreman or site manager
  • General civils experience
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Experience in roads and utilities
