The Company
Civils Contractor operating in County Cork and completing projects locally have an opening for a Civils Quantity Surveyor with 5+years’ experience. This contractor has spent the last 20 years establishing lasting relationships with a wide variety of local clients. As a new addition to their team, you will work out of the head office outside the city of Cork and have occasional site visits. It is advantageous if you have prior experience working on public contracts and have knowledge of the Irish market.
Attractive salary will reflect QS experience.
The Role
- Cost control and monitoring
- Subcontractor and supplier procurement
- Assisting with tenders and completing tenders
- Monthly valuations and variations
- Programming of works
- Contract supervision
- Company development
- Pre and post contract administration
- Subcontractor and supplier claims
- Work with site management and report to Contracts Director /Managing Director
What you need
- Degree qualified in QS
- 5+ years’ experience
- Experience in civils and working with public contracts
- Knowledge of the Construction market in Ireland.
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft.
