INFORM3 are currently seeking an experienced Civils Foreman to oversee day-to-day works on site, managing site teams, subcontractors and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

 

Civils Foreman Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day construction activities across the housing development.
  • Manage subcontractors, site labour and suppliers.
  • Plan and forecast labour, materials and upcoming works.
  • Ensure works are progressing in line with the project programme and agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the development.
  • Ensure compliance with current Building Regulations and NHBC requirements.
  • Maintain strong H&S standards and conduct regular toolbox talks.
  • Attend and chair site meetings as required.
  • Review drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving issues with the Management and Design Teams.
  • Monitor progress and ensure works are completed efficiently and to programme.
  • Maintain accurate site records and assist with project reporting.
  • Use email, Excel and other relevant computer systems confidently.

Civils Foreman Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Foreman on large residential housing developments.
  • Strong previous experience with timber frame house construction
  • Good knowledge of house construction and current Building Regulations.
  • Previous experience working to NHBC compliance standards.
  • Strong knowledge of site Health & Safety practices and toolbox talks.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors, labour and suppliers.
  • Strong planning, organisation and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to work to tight programmes and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and review construction drawings.
  • Competent with email, Excel and general computer systems.
