CNC Machinist - Northern Ireland

CNC Machinist     Co. Down     £25-28k

Inform3 are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator for a highly recognised Manufacturing Company that has vast experience within the manufacturing industry to become part of their well-established team.

This ideal candidate needs to have knowledge and understanding of how to operate CNC machines with the ability to read and understand their specifications. This role is suited to someone who has 2 years’ experience in CNC programming, setting and machining.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive CNC and conventional machining experience.
• Ability to produce and verify CNC programs and products.
• Able to work to high levels of precision.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Manufacture program and tooling records for all component produced.
• Develop new products when required.
• Ability to work in a team environment and to self-assess all work in compliance with the companies rules and regulations.
• The undertake routine checks in order maintain the machines/equipment in order to make sure they are in correct working order and to provide any detail malfunctions or deviations to a team leader or a production supervisor.

Essential Criteria:

• 2 + years in programming and operating machines.
• Experience in using multi axis machining centres.
• Time management and organised.
• Knowledge of SOP’s and work instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• A basic understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
