A leading Manufacturing and Engineering Company based in Clare are currently looking for a CNC Operator to join their ever-expanding team of experts.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Make sure all work complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
• Develop new products as and when required on a frequent basis.
• Produce and verify CNC programs and products from engineering drawings.
• Make any mathematical calculations associated with the use of precision measuring instruments and machine adjustments.
• Work within a team to produce machined projects.
• Cut material to size using a variety of machines.
• Work with very small and precise products.
• Shape, fold, bend, punch and drill components.
• Set and run CNC machines, as defined in work instructions.
• Undertake and develop novel machining processes, supporting engineers to deliver on demand project requirements.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills for the Role:

• Have around 3 years’ experience in a similar role undertaking similar tasks.
• Be competent with using CNC machines.
• Have relevant qualifications to the role.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team.
• Positive with a proactive approach to work.
