CNC Operator - Clare

CNC Operator    Shannon              €32-35k

Inform3 is currently recruiting for a CNC Milling Operator to join our clients in Shannon, Co. Clare who are a precision engineering manufacturer who utilise modern CNC equipment to produce products for a range of different industries worldwide.

Main Responsibilities

• Set up machines with different types of controllers as well as measure and tooling, prep material.
• Work with different types of materials
• Ensure quality checks are completed to ensure products meet design specifications
• Carry out and follow all Health & Safety legislations.
• Undertake routine checks in order maintain the machines/equipment in order to make sure they are in correct working order and to provide any detail malfunctions or deviations to a team leader or a production supervisor.
• Choose the correct cutting tools that will be needed and to determine stock machining sizes required depending on machine strategy.

Key Skills

• 3+ years’ experience in CNC Milling on 5 axis machines
• Knowledge and understanding of 2D & 3D Modelling using Hypermill, SolidCAM etc
• Ability to work on a range of materials
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce high quality work.
• Good attention to detail
