Are you a CNC Programmer that has at least 3+ years’ experience programming CNC Machines? A successful specialist joinery and fit-out contractor company are currently on the lookout for an ambitious individual to come on board and join their expanding team.

The role is based in County Antrim and is easily commutable from Ballymena, Toomebridge and Glengormley and suits a positive and collaborative candidate with a strong willingness to learn and a keen interest for the role and the industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To produce and verify CNC programs and products.
• Able to work to high levels of precision.
• Communicate effectively with all other work colleagues who will be using the programs.
• Carry out and follow all Health & Safety legislations.
• To provide analysis on all existing programs and to document all relevant information that is required.
• The undertake routine checks in order maintain the machines/equipment in order to make sure they are in correct working order and to provide any detail malfunctions or deviations to a team leader or a production supervisor.
• Choose the correct cutting tools that will be needed and to determine stock machining sizes required depending on machine strategy.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience within CNC Programming/Machinery.
• Knowledge and understanding of CAD, AlphaCam being advantageous.
• Ability to interpret drawings.
• Understanding of metalwork component creation and fabrication processes.
• Experience using Inventor or SolidWorks desirable.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Positive and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to handle the workload and use own initiative.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
